So, Bruce and I went to go see our first Roller Derby last night: CR Rollergirls vs. Mid-Iowa Rollergirls. "Derbyville Horror" was the theme, so, no joking... we dressed-up for the occasion. Since we knew in advance that we'd be attending, a friend, who's name I won't mention for Karma reasons, offered to buy all the tickets in advance. Grateful for the gesture, I gave this nameless person (of great Karma) the $20 and eagerly awaited Derby night!
Oh wait... we get to the event, and tickets were not purchased in advance! Did our friend not fear the wrath of Queen Lacheapah? I fear she has brought this Karma upon herself (OK, that's enough mentioning of Karma... it's not like it's her name or anything like that). Is it coincidence that the extra $6 is the exact price of a beer-in-a-plastic-cup at the beer-stand? Now, that's deserving of a blog entry by the Queen!

Update... Due to the delay in purchasing tickets for the event, our friends were highlighted on my QueenLaCheapah blog. When I got to work later in the week, our friends that attended with us gave me a Gift Card to Starbucks.... We Love You!... Or at least I do, as Bruce will never see this Gift Card! You two are the best, and as always you will be rewarded by your good Karma!
